The guide was excellent in the Uffizi and we learned a lot. We then had the rest of the day to explore on our own. It was extremely hot, but that was to be expected for traveling in August. “The tours we received were good. We were disappointed in a few things. The tour is actually six days, they are counting the departure day as a tour day. Also the first day is only a two hour evening walk in Rome where you have to find your own way back to the hotel. In Venice one of the tour days required you to find you way back to the hotel which includes navigating water taxis and city bus. “I would give it a zero star if that was possible. Our driver Umberto must have been in his late 60 or in his 70s. He couldn't see well or hear well.
