My only negative would be the leg room on the bus...built for shorter people (I am of average height 5'10"). However, I would definitely recommend thus trip! Great day!!”

“The Pompeii guided tour was superb. The tour was conducted by a local guide who was formerly an archeologist. Her explanations were easy to understand, her english was very good and the audio headsets worked well. Caution: The tour description says it goes along the Amalfi coast. In our case it didn't, it stopped short, in Sorrento. Sorrento is a lovely place, though, just not Amalfi. Also, the bus had a lot to be desired - the air conditioning was inconsistent; being a sight seeing tour, visibility was unsatisfactory, especially for those in the rear seat (4 passengers of which I was one) who had no windows at all, and…”

The van was a little rickety for a 3 hour drive there and 3 hours back. There was plenty of time for Pompeii, but a little rushed in Positano. But there's only so much you can get in a day!”
